Screen Guide

This is a live build of the Helios interface (v0.21.0) running in your browser. Drive it yourself: pick a walkthrough on the right and follow each step in the device on the left. The guide follows along automatically as you navigate.

How the trigger works. On the real device, the hardware trigger on the handle takes the reading. This web simulator has no trigger, so a tap on the live image stands in for it (it cycles the readout: dashes → red capture → saved value). Learn the device behavior; the screen-tap here is only the simulator’s stand-in. The aiming laser is also hardware and isn’t shown in the sim.

Every screen, explained.

Grouped learn-first: the core measurement loop, then the inputs that make a reading correct, then occasional settings, then back-office tools. Open a group and use “Take me there” to jump the live sim to any screen.

One navigation rule to learn first: Helios has no back button anywhere. You navigate by swiping and by tapping controls. From Measure: swipe left → Records, swipe right (or tap the cogwheel) → Settings. Settings sub-screens return with a swipe left; pickers opened from Measure (Mode, Emissivity, Location) commit and return you to Measure automatically.
